Only two years following a successful Japanese tour in 2011 that brought to life a collaborative album between Jad Fair and Tenniscoats (Enjoy Your Life, Sweet Dreams Press), Jad was ready to make another album with Tenniscoats—but this time with the additional help from Norman Blake of Teenage Fanclub. Like the first tour, Jad, Saya, and Takashi only had two days to record the album, this time with the help of Norman. Jad wrote lyrics on the tracks laid out by Tenniscoats, and Saya’s voice this time was accompanied by Norman Blake's beautiful falsettos. The pleasant mood of the early summer was kept alive in the recording, filled with memories of new friendships and discoveries in How Many Glasgow.
